With over 20 years of experience in the aerospace and metal mechanics industries, Diaz brings extensive knowledge in operations, safety, quality, engineering, materials, purchasing, and planning. His proven track record of revitalising operations and driving continuous improvement makes him a valuable addition to ABLE’s global leadership team, where innovation and precision are essential.

A Career Built on Quality and Results

Diaz started his career with work in Schlage de Mexico and Deutsch DAO, where he gained his experience in quality systems, Six Sigma, and process improvements. Handling audits, remedial measures, and overseeing staff, he established a reputation as a man of both technical and practical solutions. These initial experiences gave him a firm base in both operational discipline and strategic problem-solving, which would help him greatly in his subsequent leadership positions.

His career reached new heights at Broan Nutone, a leading global manufacturer of residential ventilation products, where he spent over 15 years in progressively senior leadership roles. As Operations Manager and later Operations Segment Manager, he managed teams of more than 500 employees while driving measurable improvements across production, quality, and delivery.

• Some of his most notable achievements include:
• Increasing productivity from 60% to 90% overall.
• Improving welding yield from 70% to 92%.
• Boosting on-time delivery (OTD) from 70% to 90%.
• Raising efficiency in the M-Can project from 50% to 80%.

These results highlight Díaz’s ability to blend Lean Manufacturing principles with a focus on team development and cross-department collaboration, delivering long-term gains in efficiency and quality.
